Create Comfort Blankets
YANA Cancer Comfort is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-denominational Christian charity organization comprised of cancer survivors that want to provide faith, hope and love to cancer patients to let them know “You Are Not Alone”.
Volunteers will be hand tying fleece blankets to touch the lives of people affected by cancer. With volunteer support, they can provide comfort care packages to cancer patients with items to keep them warm during treatment and inspiration to give them hope during their fight against cancer.
The event will take place at AleSmith Brewing Co. in Miramar and is open to kids as long as they are accompanied by adults.
