National Trails Day
Volunteers will have the choice of assisting with trail maintenance and repair of woodland trail or joining our leaders on a moderate 3-mile round-trip hike up our Homestead Trail with spectacular views of the San Diego River Gorge, Santa Ysabel and surrounding areas!
Volunteers should expect to be bending, kneeling, digging, raking, and weeding.
Long pants, closed toed shoes, tennis shoes or hiking boots. And please dress in layers, as the temperature can change drastically throughout the day.
All supplies provided. Feel free to bring along your favorite work gloves!
We will not cancel if there is light rain. If there is severe weather, we will email all participants at the latest, 24 hours prior to cancel.
Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:16+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
