Lisa Lindgren

Executive Director Lisa Lindgren brings a business background to lead HandsOn San Diego. Coming from the private sector, Lisa ran a management and marketing consulting practice focused on helping startups and small companies reach their potential. While it may seem to be a far stretch to running a nonprofit, Lisa is no stranger to volunteerism and collective action. Named as a Salvation Army Woman of Dedication, she has actively engaged with many nonprofits and causes. She is a founding member of Soroptimist International of Mission Valley and helped found Soroptimists Together Against Trafficking thereby bringing the collective action of Soroptimists across San Diego County to the San Diego Regional Human Trafficking & Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children Advisory Council.

Lisa runs all aspects of HOSD with the primary objective of increasing volunteerism across the area thereby strengthening the San Diego community. She strives to serve HOSD’s nonprofits partners, community partners, all the communities of San Diego County and every county resident in an ethical and results-oriented manner.

Lisa earned her BS in Applied Economics from Cornell University and an MBA in Management and Marketing from SDSU. She resides in San Diego’s Bay Park community and enjoys reading and horseback riding when not working or volunteering.
