Opportunity Details
FOOD: Food Rescue Program Volunteer Driver
Volunteer to drive Catholic Charities' refrigerated vehicle to "rescue" leftover food from generous community grocery store donors and deliver to their parish partners through the Emergency Food Distribution Network. They're looking for dedicated volunteers able to commit to driving at least once a week. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect in the community and help solve food insecurity throughout San Diego County by getting food to where it's needed most!
Volunteer drivers will need to submit a copy of a valid CA driver's license, auto insurance, agree to follow all Catholic Charities driver procedures, and enroll in the DMV driver pull program.
