ENGAGE: Kid Zone Childcare

Solutions for Change volunteers spend time with some of the newest kids in their program while their parents attend a monthly meeting.

Volunteers play games, read books, work on learning goals, and have fun hanging out with these awesome kids! Be a part of their story.

Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes

• Signing up: All volunteers must attend a Virtual Volunteer Orientation before helping out in the Kid Zone, sign up for an orientation here. 

• ​Shifts: Volunteers are needed for Kid Zone Mondays 6:00pm-8:00pm, Saturdays 8:45am-12:00pm, and the 1st and 3rd Thursday each month, 6:00pm-8:00pm.

• Requirements: A background check through Sterling Volunteers is required for all volunteers 18+.

• Desirable Skills: Spanish speaking

• ​Safety: All volunteers must wear masks and have their temperature checked at check-in. Hand sanitizing stations will be readily available throughout the service opportunity.
