Finding volunteer opportunities is hard, you may be thinking, “Does it fit my schedule? Is it something I care about? How long do I have to volunteer? Is it convenient for me?” You are not alone, a University of San Diego study found that these are the most common barriers to volunteering. HandsOn San Diego does the legwork to make volunteering easy for you!
We engage individuals as well as small and large groups by connecting them with local nonprofit organizations where they can donate their time and talent for a variety of projects and activities. Nonprofit organizations benefit because volunteer engagement increases their reach and capacity. Volunteers benefit because they witness first-hand how they are positively impacting the San Diego region.
This was my first time volunteering with HandsOn and I loved it! I can not wait to do some more volunteering with this organization! They were organized and very friendly and welcoming!
