We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 news and updates from the CDC. In an effort to be proactive, prioritizing the health and safety of our volunteers and our community, we have decided to cancel all volunteer opportunities from March 13, 2020 through at least April 6, 2020.
This was a difficult decision as we know the value our volunteers bring to our nonprofit partners but our community's health is of the utmost importance to us.
If you're interested in giving back from home, here are a few virtual opportunities:
- Words Alive San Diego: Help promote literacy in San Diego by hosting book drives, supporting educational craft projects, and more!
- Career Village: Provide career advice and guidance to underserved youth
- Be My Eyes: Make the world more accessible to people who are blind or have a low level of vision
- Upchieve: Provide live academic support to low-income youth
