HELP OUT: Brighten Up Auntie Helen's



Help Auntie Helen's transform the exterior of their thrift store from dull and drab to a colorful Barnum and Bailey style circus tent with sparkly paints. Volunteers will also help with powerwashing the front side walks.

This colorful transformation which will add some vitality to their mission and offer a colorful backdrop to their daily sidewalk sale that funds their Safe Space Services.


Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes

  • Attire: Closed-toe shoes and face masks are required. Wear old clothes you don't mind getting paint on.

  • Bring: Reusable water bottle, snacks, and sun protection (hat, sunscreen)

  • Lunch: A pizza lunch will be provided. Feel free to bring your own lunch if you have dietary restrictions.

  • Physical Requirements: Painting with up and down motions, power washing with 25 pound force
