After School Tutoring in Encinitas
Power Hour is an academic support program designed to help members develop academic, behavioral, and social skills through homework completion, high-yield learning activities, and tutoring that encourages Club members of every age to become self-directed learners.
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes

Volunteers must be 16 years old or older.

Time Commitment: 1 hour per week or more between the hours of 2pm-6pm on weekdays, at least once per week. Consistency is important to the kids you are teaching so committing to a schedule is highly encouraged.

Onboarding Process: Application, reference checks, background check, fingerprinting, online training and orientation

Attire: No inappropriate words printed on clothing, jean and shorts okay, tight or revealing clothing is not allowed, clothes you are okay with getting dirty, closed toed shoes

Physical Requirements: No specific physical abilities are required to participate in this volunteer opportunity. BGC Northwest San Diego is committed to make reasonable accommodations to provide equal opportunity to individuals with disabilities and other complex needs.
