ENGAGE: Community Tennis Field Day

Help out at San Diego Youth Tennis' end of year celebration, which is their most fun event of the year with an anticipated 100+ kids of all ages joining the fun!

Volunteers are greatly appreciated, where they will be directing tennis lessons and drills. Each coach will be provided a lesson plan, prizes and all needed equipment. Lunch will be served at 11:30am to all kids and coaches. Tennis experience is not required, but appreciated. 

Project Requirements & Important Notes

• Attire: Wear comfortable athletic attire such as shorts or a warmup suit. Dress in layers depending on the season. Must wear athletic shoes appropriate for tennis courts. 

• Bring: A reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat.

• ​Physical Requirements: The site is able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations and the facility is wheelchair accessible.

• Court-Ordered Volunteers: Due to site policy, this organization does not accommodate court-mandated volunteers.

• ​Note: Volunteers do not need to bring tennis rackets.
