HELP OUT: Tecate Horse Rescue's Third Anniversary Celebration

Join Tecate Horse Rescue at their third anniversary community event that welcomes folks to the rescue. Here, visitors can learn about their at-risk horses, their efforts to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome them, and the equine assisted therapy and education programs that they have for the community.

Volunteers will help set up the event by cleaning, organizing, setting up tents, chairs, and supplies. Volunteers will then help run the event by manning a station. Volunteers will additionally support with event clean up and packing up the event supplies etc.

Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes

• Attire: Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. This opportunity takes place outdoors with little or no shade so volunteers should wear sun protection such as sunscreen and a hat.

• Bring: Water and a hat

• Physical Requirements: Volunteers should have the ability to lift up to 10 pounds, bend, stretch, and carry. Unfortunately this opportunity is not able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations and the space where this project takes place is not wheelchair accessible.

• Waiver: Volunteers are required to sign this waiver.
