HELP OUT: Reunion Event Support for Horse Rescue Adopters

Join the Tecate Horse Rescue in honoring those who have adopted their rescue horses! 

This reunion is for those who have adopted animals from the rescue as a thank you for their continued care. Tecate Horse Rescue will be providing games, including horse games and games with horses, food, an opportunity drawing, music, and more. Volunteers will be supporting the event in all areas to ensure it runs smoothly. 

Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes

• Attire: Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty. This opportunity takes place outdoors with little or no shade so volunteers should wear sun protection such as sunscreen and a hat.

• Bring: Layers of clothing, water, and a hat

• Physical Requirements: Volunteers should have the ability to comfortably communicate verbally, pick up 10 pounds, bend, stretch, and carry. Unfortunately, this opportunity is not able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations and the space where this project takes place is not wheelchair accessible.

• Waiver: All volunteers are required to fill out this waiver.

• Weather: Cancellations will occur in case of wind or rainstorms

• Photos: Let them know if you do NOT want your picture taken/posted. You may take photos and video.

The mission of Tecate Horse Rescue is to rescue, rehabilitate, and find forever homes for at-risk equines while also involving them in Equine Assisted Education and Equine Assisted Therapy. They work with K-12 children, first responders, veterans, people with disabilities, and others who benefit from these programs.
