Un Mar De Colores

Un Mar de Colores nurtures the next generation of ocean stewards by providing free surf therapy, environmental education, and long-term mentorship for underserved youth and families. Through ocean-based group sessions, after-school nature and wellness programs, bilingual environmental education, and community advocacy, we foster healing, confidence, and belonging while building ecological literacy and equitable coastal access. Our culturally rooted, trauma-informed programming serves youth ages 6–18 across San Diego County, with 75% of participants identifying as Hispanic/Latinx. We are committed to community well-being through nature-based experiences that strengthen emotional regulation, environmental stewardship, and civic engagement.
