Stacey was born in San Diego, California. It was during her twenties and thirties that she set out to establish her own rules of life. After working many years in the private sector, she established her own company "Your Own Girl Friday" in 2005.  

In 2012 she decided to pursue her dream of fashion designing, producing documentaries, and becoming a writer. She published her first book in 2012 called ‘Romantic Encounters’ which is available on Amazon and to date has sold 400 copies. In 2013 "The Journey to Myself” documentary was released that tells the story of Stacey’s life based on her dream to become a fashion designer and a writer. It won an "Award of Merit" from the Indie Film Festival and was an "Official Selection" of the Cine Fest of Las Vegas 2012. It is now available on YouTube.

Over the next ten (10) years, Stacey would produce two (2) more documentaries, establish a production company in Hollywood with actress Shari Belafonte and leave the fashion world behind her after establishing a red-carpet sweep all in one year. Who knows, that could change any time...

By setting out in her twenties to discover who she was, so many people helped her forge her own road map. She volunteered as a CASA (Court Appointed Social Advocate) for foster kids with ‘Voices for Children’ for 12 years. She was on the Board of Directors for ‘Voices of Women’ which established her love for world politics. With her business, fashion designing, writing, publishing, and film making, there are no limits to what Stacey Blanchet can accomplish. She lives life on her own terms and states that “she wants to be a work in progress until the day she dies."
