Holiday Gift Pick-up for Embrace-a-Family
The Embrace-a-Family Program is a holiday gift-giving project that ensures a joyous holiday season for low-income families and individuals. Community members sign-up to “embrace” families by donating items off their wish lists.
Volunteers are needed to help case managers picking up the gifts for their clients' families locate the gifts, carry them to their vehicles and load them into their vehicles for delivery. Volunteers may also help organize our holiday shop where case managers can "shop" for their clients who were not matched.
Most assignments will require bending, lifting large boxes, and standing.
Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes, warm and comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty! It will be an outdoor event so please dress appropriately for the weather, you may want to wear a hat and gloves.
