HELP OUT: H.O.P.E Toy Drive

New Vision Church is hosting their annual toy drive and festival where they give out toys to thousands of kids in need. There will also be carnival games and a petting zoo.

Volunteers will be setting up for the event, passing out toys and/or packages, helping with traffic control, and breaking down after the event. Please only sign up if you can stay for the duration of your shift.

Project Requirements & Important Notes

• Attire: Closed-toe shoes required - wearing comfortable shoes is recommended. Leave bags and bulky personal items at home, storage is not available. Wear weather appropriate attire. Wearing red, green, and/or other festive attire is encouraged. 

• Bring: Sun protection (hat and sunscreen), snacks, and water. Jersey Mike's sandwiches will be provided for volunteers for lunch. If you have dietary restrictions, bringing a lunch is recommended.

• Physical Requirements: Able to lift 20 pounds and stand for the duration of the shift. Unfortunately accommodations cannot be made for individuals with physical limitations. 

• ​Weather: This event will take place rain or shine.

• Religious Observance: New Vision is a Southern Baptist Christian Fellowship organization. If prayer takes place, volunteers may choose to participate or opt out as desired.
