FOOD: Fallbrook Food Distribution

The Fallbrook Food Pantry (FFP) is currently operating an Emergency Food Assistance Program as a point of distribution for government commodities delivered by the San Diego Food Bank.

On a regular basis the FFP provides their 3,000+ clients with food once per week. Menu items change weekly and are created keeping a nutritious, balanced diet in mind. Each household selects grocery items suitable to the number of individuals in their family. The intent is to offer 2 days of groceries. Fresh produce, bread, and dairy items are included as available. 

Volunteers duties vary but include cleaning, sorting, bagging, and food distribution. 

Before volunteering, FFP asks that you attend a New Volunteer Orientation session. You can sign up for the orientation when you sign up for your shift here. 

Project Requirements & Important Notes

• Shifts: Mondays - Saturdays, 8:30am - 1:00pm, create an account and sign up here

• Court-ordered volunteers: The Fallbrook Food Pantry (FFP) accepts volunteers who have Court Mandated Service Hours (CMSH)- ONLY misdemeanor offenses will be considered eligible. Each candidate who wishes to fulfill their CMSH must interview with the Executive Director and provide all additional documentation requested. FFP reserves the right to deny an application.
