FOOD: Thanksgiving Food Distribution Prep
STEP needs your help in their warehouse! They will be preparing food bags from the items donated during their Thanksgiving Food Drive. These items will be going out to military families in need. Volunteers will be sorting, inventorying and packing up food bags so they are ready for distribution.
With your help they will be provide Thanksgiving Dinners to 200 military families.
Project Requirements & Important Notes

Attire: Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.

Bring: Reusable water and snacks.

Physical Requirements: Able to lift at least 20 pounds.

Safety: STEP will be following all CDC and local guidelines for social distancing to ensure volunteers, families, and staff stay healthy and safe. Masks and/or face coverings are required for all volunteer events. They will take your temperature at the office entrance and will have hand sanitizer available for you.

STEP assists junior active duty enlisted members and recently discharged enlisted Veterans and their families in Southern California facing financial crisis achieve long-term financial self-sufficiency through counseling, education and grants to alleviate critical near term obligations.
