Guest Services Ambassador
The USS Midway Museum is looking to build an expanded, cohesive volunteer team to serve as museum ambassadors. This position involves audio tour distribution and collection, assisting guests with basic wayfinding, and interaction with COVID-19 safety protocols in place.
Promising candidates will be invited to an info session via Zoom with museum staff to learn more. You will learn just how influential their audio tour is to their guests and operations, how many guests take their tour, and where they go. You'll also hear guest feedback from reviews and the metrics used to inform the museum's operational decisions.
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes
Time Commitment: This position is 4 hours weekly, for a minimum of 4 months. When COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, and the museum is open, they are open 7 days per week. Volunteer shifts are 9:30-1:30 or 1:30-5:30.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for several hours with intermittent breaks is required.
