HELP OUT: World Homeless Day Memorial
Help create an impactful and meaningful memorial for the three thousand individuals who have passed away on the streets of San Diego. World Homeless Day is observed internationally and serves as a platform to advocate for improved policies and funding that can prevent and end homelessness.
Volunteers are needed to assist in setting up the "Street of Souls," a path of 3,000 luminaries (LED candles in paper bags). This will involve prepping the luminaries then neatly placing them along an outlined path. Volunteers will also help with setting up chairs and tents for the event then tearing down after the event.
