HELP OUT: North County Turkey Trot
The North County Turkey Trot is the perfect way to start your Thanksgiving Day! Volunteers will support a community event that fundraises for Active Kids Alliance, a nonprofit organization that provides kids the opportunity to play sports when they otherwise wouldn't have the chance to.
Volunteers will help hand out medals and water, pick up trash, and help with setting up and breaking down the event. At the end of their shift volunteer will receive a free sandwich voucher for Ike's Sandwiches.
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes

Attire: Comfortable shoes and clothes or comfortable workout attire. This opportunity takes place outdoors with little or no shade so volunteers should wear sun protection such as sunscreen and a hat.

Physical Requirements: Limited physical requirements as volunteers will hand out medals/water and pick up trash. Seating can be provided for volunteers handing out medals or pouring water. This project is able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations and the space is wheelchair assessible.

Weather: This event will still take place rain or shine.
