ENGAGE: Special Olympics Regional Bowling Competition in Chula Vista

Make a difference by supporting and encouraging athletes!

As a volunteer, you'll support the event by supervising one of the bowling lanes. Volunteer duties include: making sure bowlers have the necessary equipment, matching the name on the computer monitor with the correct athlete, helping athletes to their lane, knowing where athletes are at all times, letting your Lane Supervisor know about any scoring errors, submitting the scores for your lane, and awarding the athletes their medals and ribbons.

• Signing Up: Volunteers are required to register directly with Special Olympics Southern California using this link.

• Attire: Closed-toe shoes, comfortable pants/shorts. Please wear a light green shirt. This project takes place indoors. 

• Physical Requirements: This project is able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations.
