ECO: North Park Community Clean-up - Powered by Walkabout!
This month HandsOn San Diego is partnering with Walkabout to host their monthly community clean-up in North Park. Walkabout is a community-building mobile platform designed to connect local residents with neighborhood events, real-life meetups, and exclusive perks in San Diego.
Let’s come together to keep our neighborhood beautiful! Join fellow locals for a community-powered clean-up. This is more than just a clean-up—it’s a Walkabout Moment where locals connect, give back, and make North Park an even better place to call home.
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes
Key Responsibilities:

Collect litter along the sidewalks and curbs in North Park
Attire: Closed-toe shoes are required. This opportunity takes place outdoors with little or no shade, so volunteers should wear sun protection such as sunscreen and a hat.
Bring: Reusable water bottle
Physical Requirements: This project is able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations.We can pair you with another volunteer to hold the bucket or trash pickers. The space where this project takes place is wheelchair accessible.
Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this project. No habrá ningún hispanohablante presente en este proyecto.
Note: There will not be a restroom available at this project space.
