FOOD: Food Packing for Distributions at Schools
Every week, International Relief Teams packs and delivers 500 food packs to families throughout San Diego. In partnership with 7 local school sites they distribute these food packs directly to families in need. Each pack is designed to help support a family of four with their weekend grocery needs, providing meaningful support to families experiencing food insecurity.
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes
Key Responsibilities:

Pack food bags for students and their families
Required Skills & Experience: No experience needed - training is provided and it's very easy to pick up!
Attire: Casual attire. Closed-toe shoes are recommended. This opportunity takes place indoors.
Physical Requirements: Be able to lift at least 10 pounds. Unfortunately this opportunity is not able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations and the space where this project takes place is wheelchair accessible.
Translation Services: A Spanish speaker will be present at this project and will be able to provide volunteer instructions in Spanish. Asistencia en español disponible el día del evento.
