Online Orientation

As a HandsOn San Diego Volunteer, we ask that you:

Always use the "Sign Up" button for each project you wish to attend.
Arrive on time and stay for the entire project.
Don't be a no-show.
Act and dress responsibly when volunteering.
Only bring a friend, family member or guest to a project if they have signed up through HandsOn San Diego or you have contacted the Team Leader and gotten their OK.
Give Team Leaders at least 3-4 days after the project to verify your service hours in our system.
Share your experiences with others!
- Most people volunteer because someone they trust asked them to. Just telling your friends about what you do can have a real impact.
- By posting your photos and feedback on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter you can also help other volunteers check out a project before they get there.
Let us know if you are a court-ordered volunteer.
