Congratulations! You can now start making a difference in San Diego by signing up to volunteer through our online calendar or search feature.

We have an app! You can use the free HandsOn Connect app for signing up and removing yourself from volunteer opportunities, viewing project locations, and checking in at our nonprofit partners who use QR codes for check-in. The HandsOn Connect App can be downloaded from the Apple Store and Google Play.

As a HandsOn San Diego volunteer, you agree to: 

• Always sign up for volunteer opportunities you would like to attend in advance by clicking the "Sign Up" button.

• Arrive on time and stay for the duration of the project. 

• Commit to attending the projects you sign up for or remove yourself (through the “My Account” tab) before the project if you can no longer attend. (If you sign up for then do not attend 3 projects without removing yourself from the project, your account will become inactive.)

• Act and dress responsibly when volunteering. 

• Give Volunteer Leaders at least 3-4 days after the project to verify your service hours. 

• Let us know via email to info@handsonsandiego.org if you are performing court-ordered service. 

• Bring a Minor Consent Waiver signed by a parent or guardian to projects if you are under the age of 18. 

• Follow our Code of Conduct.
